ABSOLWENT 900 is a wooden yacht built as a modern
construction in the technology "West System". Her carpentry is
based on the materials of the highest quality, with GL and L
certificates. The process of designing and building was
supervised by the classification society The Polish Register of
Shipping.The yachthas been awarded the highest class " * yKx"
which allows ocean navigation and five years free of the
compulsory technical survey.
The constructional solutions applied in the boat ensure:
- one-person operation including lowering the mast
- easy transport and sailing
- direct approach to a beach
- very good navigationg characteristics ( sailing close to the
wind on windward courses, very good manoeuvring and
self-steering capabbilities, course stability).
In 1994, at the fair "Wiatr i Woda" ( "Wind and Water") in
Warsaw, "Absolwent 900" was honoured with the highest award
"Gwóźdź Targów" ( " The Nail of the Fair") for the design and
quality of the work.
The yacht also took past in a boat show in Düsseldorf, Germany,
in 1995, where he aroused serious interest among the specialists.
